From a Bluecoats press release: The Bluecoats are seeking qualified applicants for the newly created position of operations director. The Bluecoats are continuing their commitment to growing and strengthening the organization by creating this new, full-time position. Through ongoing coordination with the executive director, the operations director will be responsible for the management of key administrative and operational duties as they relate to the day-to-day business of the Bluecoats organization. The position will not include any responsibilities related to the corps' competitive program. Duties include: *Day-to-day management of the Bluecoats office and operations. Tasks include (but are not limited to) mailings, correspondence, ticketing, fulfillment of online merchandise orders, and other administrative duties and operational projects as assigned by the executive director and board of directors. *Assisting the treasurer with organizational bookkeeping tasks and financial reporting. *Recruiting and coordinating volunteers to staff all volunteer-supported programs, including food service, souvenir sales, uniforms, medical services, and winter camp transportation. *Food service coordination for all camps and the summer tour. This responsibility includes menu planning, food procurement, and promotion of food safety. Specific qualifications for the position include: *Experience and familiarity with the special needs of a nationally touring organization. *Bachelor's degree preferred *Live (or willing to relocate to) within 60 miles of Canton, Ohio. Relocation reimbursement NOT being offered.
