Open Class corps will have their first get-together of the off-season on Friday, Sept. 18 and Saturday, Sept. 19 in Las Vegas, Nev. The two-day general business meetings will be the first chance since the DCI World Championships in August that directors will come together to evaluate the past season and to begin planning for the year ahead.

"This fall meeting is not only an opportunity to discuss 2009 and 2010 respectively, but also a chance to welcome heads of prospective corps who are interested in learning more about starting a group that competes as part of the Drum Corps International Tour," said DCI Open Class Coordinator David Eddleman.

Meetings will be held at the Flamingo Las Vegas (355 Las Vegas Blvd. South). The complete schedule is as follows:

Friday, Sept. 18

"For those individuals who may be looking to start a corps, we encourage you to attend even if you are still in your formative planning stages," says Eddleman.
