Founded in 1957 by Casper, Wyoming businessman Jim Jones, the Troopers are represented by members from around the world. What started as a locally-based operation, quickly grew into an international sensation after the Troopers pioneered the touring drum corps model, making the activity accessible to young people across the country and beyond. Ever building upon their rich and innovative history, the corps has established itself as a dominant force in the annals of drum corps history and remains an ever present fan favorite throughout the activity.
