Tickets to 2017 Drum Corps International Tour events in Atlanta and Orlando are among those set to go on sale to the general public on Monday, January 30.

With downtown Atlanta’s Georgia Dome soon to be closed in anticipation of a new stadium opening in late summer, the DCI Southeastern Championship presented by Lone Star Percussion will move to a temporary home at McEachern High School in Powder Springs on Saturday, July 29.

Featuring a lineup of 18 corps, 2017’s Southeastern Championship will be complemented by a Tour of Champions series event in Winston-Salem, North Carolina the following day on Sunday, July 30.

“With the brand new Mercedes Benz Stadium not quite ready for us to use for this year's Atlanta event, it’ll give us the opportunity to split corps between the two events in Powder Springs and Winston-Salem,” DCI Senior Director of Events Development Susan Kuehnhold said. 

Southeastern Championship tickets, which will go on sale Monday at noon, 12 p.m. ET, start at $40, with discounts available to groups of 20 or more. Tickets to the July 30 event in Winston-Salem are currently on sale.

“With the seating capacity at McEachern High School considerably less than is typically available at the Georgia Dome, drum corps fans are encouraged to order their tickets in advance,” Kuehnhold said.

Two DCI Tour events scheduled for July in Florida, also will be available on Monday.

Kicking off with a brand new event on Saturday, July 8, DCI Orlando presented by Lone Star Percussion, will feature corps at a stadium that’s played host to the DCI World Championships on four separate occasions.

Since DCI’s last event at the Florida Citrus Bowl in 2014, the venue has undergone a $200 million renovation and has been renamed “Camping World Stadium.”

Corps will travel 135 miles over the next two days to Jupiter, Florida, site of the DCI South Florida event on Monday, July 10.

Other tickets available on Monday will include DCI Tour events in Rockford, Illinois (July 7) and Charleston, West Virginia (July 31).
