Drum Corps International is adding to its event production team for the 2024 DCI World Championships in Indianapolis, and we’re searching for passionate age-outs who are interested in “paying it forward” to a new generation of drum corps performers, while having fun in the process!

If you aged-out in 2021, 2022 or 2023 and are interested in a behind-the-scenes role at this year’s big event, we might just have an exceptional opportunity for you!

The requirements

  • DCI alumni in good standing from the age-out classes of 2021, 2022, or 2023
  • Volunteers must be available Wednesday through Saturday night, August 7-10
  • Volunteers must be able to pass a reference/background check and have a completed and up-to-date SafeSport training certificate. (DCI will provide training at no cost to volunteer if needed)
  • Various roles require candidates to stand, move, walk, lift and/or carry cartons

Additional information

  • Volunteers will need to travel to Downtown Indianapolis on their own. Parking will be made available at no cost to the volunteer
  • Any transportation needed around Indianapolis will be provided
  • A limited number of positions are needed. Volunteers will be selected through an application and follow up screening and/or interview processes
  • Volunteers may be asked to work in various positions including but not limited to, corps flow, field logistics, parking, loading and unloading, event setup and teardown, special events
  • DCI cannot guarantee that you will have the option or ability to watch, see, or interact with any specific shows or corps
  • Volunteers will be notified of their selection by the end of June
