2. Carolina Crown » 87.500
3. Bluecoats » 87.175
4. Boston Crusaders » 86.800
5. Santa Clara Vanguard » 85.750
An airtight race emerged between three corps who have seen a little bit of one another in individual doses throughout the 2022 DCI Tour, but met for the first time all in one place at Tuesday’s event.
Carolina Crown, which entered Broken Arrow as the only undefeated corps aside from Blue Devils, continued to keep Bluecoats and Boston Crusaders at bay, largely due to second-place music scores. Crown’s lead of 0.325 over Bluecoats is comparable to the lead of 0.45 it held the last time the two met, July 2 in Kent, Ohio.
Bluecoats scored ahead of Carolina Crown in several captions, including an advantage of 0.40 in general effect. That being said, the Canton, Ohio corps finished just behind its Fort Mill, South Carolina counterpart in the visual captions, and finished as low as fifth in total music.

Boston Crusaders also earned its first head-to-head win over Santa Clara Vanguard since 2005.
In fifth place, Santa Clara Vanguard scored just over a point outside the top four, and finished fifth in the total general effect and visual captions.
