Drum Corps International has formed a partnership with Marching Health, an industry leader in fitness and health & wellness within the marching arts community. The three-year agreement designates Marching Health as DCI’s official marching arts fitness partner.

Marching Health will provide several important services to DCI and its participating organizations, including recruitment of certified athletic trainers, free downloads of Marching Health’s preseason fitness training program, and a discount for corps and performers on other Marching Health programs and services.

Additionally, Marching Health will have a presence in the vendor area of the DCI World Championships, and will make an annual donation to DCI’s Marching Arts Safety & Health initiative.

“The team at Marching Health is well respected in the marching arts community when it comes to preseason fitness training,” said Nate Boudreaux, CEO of Drum Corps International. “Our corps and performers will benefit greatly from this collaboration and we’re excited to get started.”

Marching Health, through its MarchingStrong program, has helped hundreds of marching bands, drum corps, and winter ensembles prepare for their season and perform at their best. Marching Health programs optimize a members’ performance abilities by improving movement skills and teaching proactive health strategies.

“We are proud to be the official Marching Arts Fitness Partner of DCI,” said Elliot Cleveland, a certified physical therapist and founder of Marching Health. “Drum Corps International has long been the standard for marching music excellence. Our mission from day one has been to better support the health and wellness needs of marching performers, and this partnership allows us to serve those performers globally. We are excited to offer our MarchingStrong programs to drum corps, and to play a role in elevating sports medicine care for the activity.”
