Drum Corps International strategic partner NAfME (National Association for Music Education) is currently accepting nominations for membership in the 2015 U.S. Army All-American Marching Band.
The All-American Marching Band is one of the premier high school marching groups, made up of elite high school seniors from across the country. 125 students are selected to come together at the beginning of January to perform as the halftime entertainment at the annual U.S. Army All-American Bowl at the San Antonio Alamodome.
Drum Corps International has been a proud sponsor of the U.S. Army All-American Marching Band since its debut in 2008. In its seven years of existence, some of drum corps' finest staff and members have been a part of the group.
High school seniors during the 2014-2015 school year are eligible to apply for the 2015 U.S. Army All-American Marching Band. A deadline for nominations that must be completed by the student's band director is approaching on January 31, 2014.
Band members chosen to take part in the All-American experience receive an all-expenses-paid trip to San Antonio. In only a matter of days, the marching ensemble learns and perfects a halftime show for the All-American Bowl.
