The 2014 DCI World Championships officially got underway Monday, Aug. 4, as 15 corps converged in Michigan City, Indiana, for the Open Class Prelims at Ames Field. After a sunny start which gave way to lightning and thunderstorms with just three corps left to perform, Blue Devils B captured the top spot ahead of the Vanguard Cadets and Spartans.
