This photo was taken of the Gold bass drum section on July 19, 2009 at the loudest show on Earth in Dublin, Calif. We took this picture with our bass drum tech Kevin (a member of the Vanguard bass line '07 and '08) right before we hit the field for our final performance of the summer. Rumored to have one of the best bass drum lines in the Open Class, I led my section proudly and miss every one of them very much. We finished off the season ranked third in the Open Class, our best finish ever. As an age-out member this year, I will miss the drum corps experience very much.
